Polyester shade material structure consists of a micro thin layer of metal bonded with a strong laminating adhesive to provide exceptional reflective properties for the best solar solution. Using a precise vacuum coating process, the shade material is given the light and heat-reflecting properties of metal.

ASTM Energy Performance Testing results from an independent lab certified by the NFRC (National Fenestration Rating Council) are outstanding and provide vital information on energy savings. Shades used in tests were RS2G- Grey/Silver with Side Rails.
